DarNesha Green, LMSW, PMC, SSW

DarNesha Green brings nearly 20 years of experience in education, mental health, and community systems leadership to her role as Vice President of SAVE’s Board of Directors. As a licensed clinical social worker, certified K–12 administrator, and equity-centered advocate, DarNesha is deeply committed to disrupting cycles of violence and trauma in the lives of youth and families.

In her leadership role with SAVE, she guides strategic initiatives focused on youth violence prevention, community education, and the expansion of trauma-informed support services. DarNesha brings a systems lens to the work, helping bridge schools, families, and community partners to build coordinated responses that support safety, healing, and opportunity for all.

Outside of SAVE, DarNesha serves as Assistant Director for Community and School Partnerships at the Washtenaw Intermediate School District, where she oversees school-based mental health initiatives across multiple districts. Her dual focus on prevention and partnership drives her unwavering commitment to building communities where young people can thrive free from violence.
